Excavation and augmentation of 41,900 CY of sand and gravel from a floodplain terrace into the south channel of the Platte River. Material will be excavated from an abandoned floodplain terrace and spoiled into the adjacent active channel for the purpose of sediment augmentation for habitat improvements. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on-site at 1:00PM on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.

Excavation and spoil of 30,905 CY of material necessary to create wetland swales. Material will be excavated to create swales with a depth of approximately 2 – 5 FT below existing grade. Swales and other areas will be seeded. Project location is near Elm Creek, Nebraska.
Activities in this project include demolition of a home site and farm buildings, removal and stockpile of concrete, and disposal or recycling of all demolished building materials. Contractor will also perform final cleanup and grading/restoration of the site such that it can be reseeded. Seeding is not a part of this invitation for bid.
